Reporting to: Head of Business Development
Territory: UAE – GCC

Job Overview

At Electra, we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious contracting partner for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.

Under the guidance of the Head of Business Development, the Business Development Manager will be requested to develop new clients within the scope given by offering all solutions the organization has.

Main Accountabilities (list is non exhaustive):

  • Identify, contact, and liaise with prospect clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives (Cross sell all of Electra’s Solutions)
  • Take brief, analyse project, prepare commercial offer
  • Develop existing clients with growth potential
  • Achieve sales targets provided by management
  • Identify potential future projects
  • Deal with client requests in the most efficient manner
  • Show walk to identify new clients
  • Share leads and opportunities with other sales functions (e.g. Other team members in charge, international markets etc.)
  • Ensure proper handover to an account manager of recurring account when necessary
  • Issue weekly reporting in compliance with management requirement
  • Use the CRM efficiently – make sure database is up to date on a weekly basis
  • Work with other departments to meet customers need
  • Analyse market, competition and report accordingly
  • Work proactively with the marketing department
  • Follow the values of the company
  • Liaise with clients to obtain due payments

Knowledge & experience: 

  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience
  • UAE and GCC Market knowledge
  • Events /Exhibitions Industry knowledge
  • Analytical and negotiation skills
